Cold and Flu Fighters!

Cold and Flu fighters! I can't believe it is that time of year again, but patients are already starting to come into the office with colds and flu is right around the corner. What can you do to stay healthy this year? Here are some tips:

1- Wash your hands! All the time! Especially before you eat or put anything next to your mouth or nose.
2- Get enough sleep. Quality sleep goes a long way towards a healthy immune system.
3- Take Vitamin D (available in office) and a probiotic (also in office).
4- Exercise regularly.
5- Limit refined sugar and carbs in your diet.

Don't let yard work be your down"fall"!



Fall yard work is on almost everyone's agenda for the weekends. Here are a few tips on how stay healthy and stay safe!

1-Take it easy! Don't try to do a whole years worth of work in one weekend.
2- Avoid the "lift and twist" move with heavy objects. This move can seriously stress your low back.
3- Know you activity limits and take regular breaks
4- Pay attention to posture and ergonomics while doing tasks such as raking
