Squats, squats, squats.

It's all about the squats. Check out this article for a good list of common exercises at the gym that can actually do more harm than good....and the better alternatives (hint: squats). Squats are one of the best full body toners out there and everyone can do them! You don't need fancy equipment or heavy weights to get your legs and buns in good shape. Squats also help to raise testosterone levels by exercising the largest muscle group in the body, the quadriceps. Now get out there and give me 20 reps!

Yoga Classes

Many people have been asking about Yoga classes in town. We do not currently have yoga in the office. I would whole heartedly recommended Melissa Duchatscheck with Present Moment Yoga! Her class schedule and information can be found at www.presentmomentyoga.com . She has a variety of classes for all abilities at several locations in Washington. Yoga really is the perfect thing for everyone, anyone can do it, no matter what their fitness level is. Yoga can help improve flexibility, reduce pain, relieve stress and tension, and help you focus more in daily life.

Namaste!

I'm back

I had a few people in the office the last week or so that mentioned they had seen the blog. I feel bad for not updating regularly! I am going to try harder to post more often with useful information, fun stuff, and office happenings.

Spring is here!

Well, except for the snow over the weekend. Technically speaking, it is spring. Which means allergy time for most people. I always see a spike in allergy and sinus related acupuncture treatments this time of year. Why not try acupuncture to relieve the itching, sneezing, and congestion that usually accompanies us into the warmer weather!

In good health,
